Dear Parents and Students,

The following important and time sensitive information includes annual recital information.

This year the recital will be on Saturday, June 10th at Mckinleyville High School’s Auditorium. It will be for Ballet I to Advanced Levels only. Pre-Ballet will not be in the recital . They will have an in-studio presentation on Monday, June 5.

The annual recital offers our students a professionally staged performance through which they may present to family and friends the culmination of months of dedicated study.

RECITAL DRESS REHEARSAL: The MANDATORY dress rehearsal will be the same day of the recital on Saturday, June 10th at Mckinleyville High. Dress Rehearsal will start at 12:30 pm. There will be an hour break between the end of Dress Rehearsal and the start of the actual show at 4:30.

RECITAL COSTUMES: Please see the costume form sent home for your child’s recital costume. Please note the fee deadline of Tuesday, February 14th.

  • Fee information for Spring Session will be sent home at the end of February.

This season our upper level students performed wonderfully in our “Nutcracker in the Neighborhood” performances at Mckinleyville’s Timber Ridge Senior Residence and at Morris Graves Elementary School, following in TBA’s long tradition of community outreach. Also, TBA’s resident professional company, Ballet Emmaus (Em-ay-us), presented our beautiful “O Come Emmanuel” ballet in Arcata. They were amazing, presenting the ballet despite the earthquake less than 2 days before. Congratulations to all the dancers!

Happy New Year!
